How to print negatives on Epson and Kodak

inkjet photograph printers

Many photo printers have a sensor to detect whether there is paper present and when they see the clear inkjet film they cancel the print operation. Using our paper removable paper-backed imageblack inkjet film you can use these type of printers as normal.

Load the imageblack paper-backed film in the A6 (4”x6”) tray, so that the printable (non-paper) side is correctly positioned according to the diagram on the printer tray, its usually printable side down).

You may have to print a small black box with different print settings to see which one is darkest, but it is most likely going to be Photo Paper Matte as the paper type or photo printing from the shortcut menu.

Select A6 paper on your printer properties and change to landscape if you are printing in that orientation.

When it has finished printing carefully peel off the paper backing and your negative is ready for use. Take care not to scratch your negative.
