Quick User Guide for ALF 11

1. Raise upper lid

2. Lay a strip of foam insulation tape around the perimeter of the glass bed outside the vacuum holes. Ensure that the tape meets up so as to make a vaccum inside it.

3. Lay negative(s) down and place imagepac on top so that word ‘imagepac’ is readable.

4. If you are exposing only 1 x A3 then place it in the middle, if you are doing 2 side by side then you can overlap the seams.

5. Ensure you have the correct thickness of bearers in the corners resting on the glass.

6. Close upper lid

7. Turn on vacuum

8. Set times to 1 min back exposure and 2 mins front exposure (you may need to adjust or optimise from here).

9. Turn off vacuum

10. Raise lid

11. Cut and process as normal.
